Employment
relationships are
mainly regulated by the Romanian Labor Code, collective bargaining
agreements and individual employment agreements.

employees have certain protection rights
provided by law, which include provisions requiring observance by
employers of strict dismissal
procedures, negotiation of collective bargaining agreements with
employees’ representatives/unions if the number of employees
is in excess of 21, certain terms and conditions for conclusion
of individual
employment agreements, etc.
